    • A pre-installation site check (if required) and installation on a single or 3-phase site within a 100km radius of nearest installer location.

    • Installation of the PV system on a single-story tin or tiled roof in good condition

    • Energy Consumption Monitoring

    • Retail meter replacement or reconfiguration (if required)

    • 10-year installation warranty

    • Installation on poor condition, steep, cathedral-type, or multi-story roofs

    • Multiple roof faces - more than two (2) for PV systems

    • Tilting Kits for flat roof types

    • Switchboard upgrades (to ensure compliance with current standards)

    • Dedicated wiring for additional back-up circuits

    • Additional regulatory compliance costs (e.g., Certificate of Electrical Safety inspections in VIC)

    • Removal & disposal of any existing systems or equipment

    • Fees charged by electricity distribution network service providers for technical assessment of applications for connecting solar or battery (these fees may vary by distribution network, system type, size and phase)

Federal Government rebates for solar and home batteries are set to reduce from 1 January 2027. Both incentives are delivered through Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs), which help reduce the upfront cost of eligible solar and battery systems. From 1 January 2027, the number of STCs available will reduce. In simple terms, this means a 15-20% lower Government incentive so you could pay more out of pocket for the same system in 2027 than you would in 2026.

  • We service customers across Australia. Tesla products are available in these stores.

  • We use advanced 3D modelling data to assess your roof’s shape, sunlight exposure, tilt, and shading. This allows us to design a solar system that’s tailored to your home for maximum performance. We then combine the shading data with over 10 years of local weather data to estimate how much energy your system will generate across a typical meteorological year. Every design is created by a solar engineer to ensure accuracy, compliance, and long-term reliability.

  • Timing depends on your availability, installer availability, grid connection approvals by your local distributor and how quickly your energy retailer reconfigures your meter. We’ll guide you through each step to keep things moving smoothly. Please refer to our install timeframe page for more information.

  • Our installer visits the property and to finalise system details. For solar, they’ll check roof access, cable paths, switchboard condition, Wi-Fi signal, and confirm the system design. For batteries, they’ll plan safe transport and check if extra safety measures are needed. If anything affects the quote outside of our fair quote policy, we’ll update it and send it to you for final approval.

  • On installation day, our certified installer will conduct safety checks, and begin the installation. Your electricity will be turned off for about an hour during the installation. After installation, the system will be tested, and in Victoria, an inspector will review it before activation. In other states, your system may be switched on right after testing. Be sure to have pets secured and, for Victorian customers, have your Solar Victoria QR code ready for scanning.

  • Every Wattle Powr system includes two warranties:

    Installation Warranty: Covers workmanship and installation-related issues for 10 years.

    Product Warranty: Covers hardware like panels, batteries, and inverters (typically 10–25 years, depending on the product).

    In the event of a product warranty claim, the Wattle Powr team will manage it for you, so you only need to contact us if something goes wrong.

  • We partner with a network of Wattle Powr Accredited Installers across Australia.

    Our installers:

    • Are accredited by Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) — the national body recognised by the Clean Energy Regulator for solar and battery design and installation.

    • Hold a valid and unrestricted electrical licence (and, where required, an electrical contractor or business licence) in the relevant state or territory.

    • Design and install systems in compliance with Australian Standards, and obtains any required building or planning permits for the works.
