  • We use your electricity bills to create an accurate, personalised quote based on your energy usage. Your bill helps us understand how and when you use power throughout the year. We then model how solar and/or battery system will operate for you — including energy flows between your home or business, the grid, and the system. We also confirm site details like your supply address, metering information, and network provider to ensure a smooth grid connection and installation process.

  • We have installers across New South Wales, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, South East Queensland, Adelaide, and Perth.

  • We use advanced 3D modelling data to assess your roof’s shape, sunlight exposure, tilt, and shading. This allows us to design a solar system that’s tailored to your home for maximum performance. We then combine the shading data with over 10 years of local weather data to estimate how much energy your system will generate across a typical meteorological year. Every design is created by a solar engineer to ensure accuracy, compliance, and long-term reliability.

  • Timing depends on your availability, installer availability, grid connection approvals by your local distributor and how quickly your energy retailer reconfigures your meter. We’ll guide you through each step to keep things moving smoothly. Please refer to our install timeframe page for more information.

  • Our installer visits the property and to finalise system details. For solar, they’ll check roof access, cable paths, switchboard condition, Wi-Fi signal, and confirm the system design. For batteries, they’ll plan safe transport and check if extra safety measures are needed. If anything affects the quote outside of our fair quote policy, we’ll update it and send it to you for final approval.

  • Every Wattle Powr system includes two warranties:

    Installation Warranty: Covers workmanship and installation-related issues for 10 years.

    Product Warranty: Covers hardware like panels, batteries, and inverters (typically 10–25 years, depending on the product).

    In the event of a product warranty claim, the Wattle Powr team will manage it for you, so you only need to contact us if something goes wrong.

  • On installation day, our certified installer will conduct safety checks, and begin the installation. Your electricity will be turned off for about an hour during the installation. After installation, the system will be tested, and in Victoria, an inspector will review it before activation. In other states, your system may be switched on right after testing. Be sure to have pets secured and, for Victorian customers, have your Solar Victoria QR code ready for scanning.

  • We partner with a network of Wattle Powr Certified Installers across Australia, all of whom are Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) certified. This ensures that every installation meets the highest standards for quality and performance. Our onboarding process and regular quality checks ensure that our installers consistently deliver exceptional, safe, and high quality installations.
